October 29th: Ever been to the HOUSE OF BLUES Gospel Brunch? Well, don't miss this then! On Octbober 29th, Gabi will be singing with jazz group CRESCENDO at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood. It will be Catalina's first ever Sunday Gospel/Jazz Brunch. We'll be performing in conjunction with the world famous Brown Brothers. Doors open at 11am, and show is at 12:30pm. October 22nd: CAMELOT ARTISTS throws a HUGE sold out, star-studded fundraiser at UCLA's Freud Theatre on October 22nd. The likes of Tyne Daly, Wayne Brady, Michael Feinstein, Ray Romano, Bruce Villanch, of course, yours truly, and many more will be performing. Click on the link above to learn how to purchase tickets. Gabi receives a 2006 Garland Award Critic's Honourable Mention for Lead Performance in a Musical for her role of "Polly Peachum" in The Threepenny Opera at the Odyssey Theatre (Aug-Dec. 2005.)
She also appears as a radio guest on Karma Air on a professional poker playing segment.
February 2006
Gabi books a supporting role in SAG indy Benny written and directed by Alex Craig Mann. She also books a lead in play Ready, Aim, You're Fired, by Jeremy Kehoe to be performed in April at the Lonny Chapman Group Repertory Theatre in Burbank, CA.

Gabi becomes the new first soprano for the amazing jazz harmony group CRESCENDO. There's tons of music to learn. Her first gig with them will be in May at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood, after which they go to Asia for 3 weeks for the International Jazz Fest.

The Threepenny Opera continues to run through November 27th (no show on the 24th for Thanksgiving though). (see links in August news) Film Magic Fruitsody screens in the International Student Film Festival in Hollywood. Gabi also shoots film VOWS with director Mark Ahrens, playing a captured soldier in Iraq who fights back against her torturers.

Gabi shoots film Magic Fruitsody with first time director Kate Mitchell. Donning a pretty fabulous apple costume and singing a spoof of Bohemian Rhapsody. This is a D-fest winner for sure!! (do stay tuned for pictures of this)
After returning from a fun-filled family cruise to the Caribbean, Jamaica and Mexico, Gabi shoots another film Butterface (with her longtime friend/director, Eric Hwang), sporting a sexy blonde wig (stay tuned for pictures of this as well).

After 4 callbacks, Gabi books the coveted role of Polly Peachum in The
Threepenny Opera at the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. Rehearsals are underway
and the opening is set for August 20th running 5 shows a week possibly
through December. (so no excuses for not coming, please)She also performed her very first, and hopefully only, bridesmaid's duties
for best girl, Keili's, wedding. Very fun, very hot. Who gets married in Kansas.. in the summer.. outside? That's love for you!

Gabi wraps the In Search of the Partridge Family series for VH1, coming in 4th out of the entire nation of Shirleys, having the time of her life and making 7 new friends for life.

The "audition special" of In Search of the Partridge Family airs on VH1 on Sept. 5th. It will air for the next 7 weeks.Gabi moves into the Universal Sheraton Hotel to begin her journey into Partridge land with the other seven Shirleys.

This was a big, fun month. After a 16+ hour audition, Gabi booked the new VH1 series In Search of the Partridge Family. She'll be one of 8 Shirley Partridge finalists competing for the role on the new series.Gabi performed 2 pieces (one with her cello) in a Valerie Fahren's Vocal Talent Showcase at the Garden Pavillion in Hollywood.
Also, this month, Gabi traveled to Wilmington, Delaware to perform in Through A Child's Eyes at the Grand Opera House on Aug. 28th and 29th.
